Hey, just thought id send in a pic of my two mares. Im 16 and I really love horses alot, thats why i own Flash (the Pinto) and Pricilla (the Chestnut). Flash is a 3 year old Arab Quarter horse cross. I bought her at an auction for $250.00 they were going to send her to the killer pens if i didn't buy her, i felt sorry for her and took her home. She was Spooky and I had to leave a lead rope attached to her halter just so i could catch her. but now she is pest one of my best friends ever. Pricilla on the other hand, she was a pest when i got her, she could see me coming a mile away (lol) i would walk out the door and she would whinney at me! She is a pure-bred Quarter Horse, I bought her off the race track and sent her to a professional horse trainer and he trained to be a cutting horse, so ive been working with her practicing for the next cutting horse competition. I still race her in the match races... she can run 9.43 seconds in 200 yards! thats fast......... but she is awesome. Love Ya Flash & Prissy!
Hi! My name is Megan and I am 19 years old. I am from Oklahoma in the U.S.A. This is my pony Flicker who is 8 years old. He is a bay Welsh cob 15.2hh.He is getting a bit small for me so I am giving him to my sister,Ria who is 13! I get my mom's horse,Teeco who is 16.1hh.I really hope Ria has as much fun with Flicker as I did in the last 8 years I had him.I have had him since he was a foal and had to raise him myself because his Dam,Blaze died giving birth to him. It's a really sad story and I don't want to talk about it so I will tell you about the stables I live on. Well there is 27 horses and 13 ponies. There is a pony called Vanilla Sky and she is In-Foal.I cant wait until she has her foal!!!!
Hello, I am Shasta. My horse is an Arabian and she is 21 years young !
It is funny, because she always acts like she is four ! She is very well trained, and I hope one day I get to go to shows with her.
My friendship with her is very nice. Sometimes she is moody, but I help her get through it as soon as possible. I have an instructor named Bev, she has been riding for 60 years ! I like her alot because she understands how I feel on Lonnie's back. I have lots of friends that love horses, and I hope to ride with them soon. So goodbye for now.
love:shasta

Hi my name is Bonnie, AKA Riley, I am 17 from the UK, these are my 2 horses Tommie and Deshi, I have another called Ari. Tommie is a 14.3 and still growing 4 year old trotter X cob he was bought from gypsys after having a very poor start to life and is slowly building trust as I break him in, Deshi is a 15 year old 16.3 hungarian warmblood, he is very sweet natured although gets excited from time to time. Ari (short for Arizona) is a 14.3 dales X ride and drive aged 6 he is very sweet and loves fuss!
My name is Rachel R. and This is me and my 24 yr old quarter horse mare Teddy Bear Scoot. For years I had dreamed of owning a horse. When I started riding lessons 5 yrs ago my riding teacher helped me find the perfect horse for me to barrel race on. The first thing I saw of Teddy Bear was the bottom of her feet, she ran as fast as she could to get away from us, she was raised by an abusive owner, and trained by an abusive trainer she still has scars on her sides from spurs, she was terifided of people when we got her it took a whole 2 hours to get her in the trailer. After a couple of days she realized we meant her no harm. Now Teddy is the sweetest horse I've ever known and ever will know. She always comes when you call and is no longer scared of people but shes not too fond of cowboy hats. Teddy Bear is the love of my life, and she will always come before myself. Teddy turns 25 this year but don't let her age fool you she still acts like a filly, and shes still got her good looks. Thank you for your time.
Rachel and Teddy Bear :)
Hey!!! This is my two horses, Cindy and Sterling. Cindy is the white one and Sterling is the Red Roan. I have had them for 8 yrs now, and I love them!!!! We enjoy doing Dressage, jumping, western events and trail riding!! We love to do it all!!!! When we first got the horses, they were skinny and about 300 lbs underweight. We have been taking care of them, and exercising them and now they are wonderful!!!! Cindy is Sterling's mom. They are Missouri Fox Trotters, and they are the best!!! They are loving and love to eat!!! I'm so glad they are in my life!!!! Thanks for this website!!! I love it!!
Hello!!!
Love the site it's awesome!!! Just thought I's send
a picture of me and my baby "Paint By Numbers"

in the day lol!! But yeah....Rolo and I do Hunter Jumper's
because it's the best equine sport out there!! We are
currently showing in Junior's which is 3'6-3'9 and Rolo
ALWAY'S place's no matter what!! He will never get below
a 3rd!! I love my horse soooo much!!!! He's absolutely
AMAZING and I don't know what I would do without him!!
lol!! Literally speaking...I would have to say my horse
is one of my best friend's ever!! I've only had Rolo
for 10 month's and it's been the BEST 10 month's ever!!!!
But yeah..this is kind of a long note letter thing so
I'll end it as of now!! !!!
*Love Always*

I
had dreamed about having my very own Paint horse since
i could remember...well 2 years ago at the age of 15
I got my dream horse! She's a Bay Tobiano Paint and
is very cute! Her name is Silly Miss Key Toe, and is
11 years old...12 in 4 months. She is due to have her
VERY first foal in 3 months, and hopefully will be a
colt!
When you put your hand through the bars of her stall,
she pins her ears back, nods her head, and tries to
nip you...which is really cute! i showed her in Showmanship
and hopefully this summer will show her in Dressage
with the baby in Showmanship class! The stud that bred
Silly Miss Key Toe is named Camerons Red Cloud!...solo!
and is VERY handsome! Skeeter is a very loving little
girl and loves people and nickers to me everytime i
go to the barn to see her.
When Silly Miss Key Toe was born, her old owner Jean
was leading her VERY big and pregnant mare down to the
barn when the VERY pregnant mare flopped on her side
and had Silly Miss Key Toe. When the new born baby came
they called her Silly Miss Key Toe cause she was covered
in Mosquitoes when she was born! she is now 11 years
old and had been to only one person that owned her for
about 2 years until my father purchased her 2 years
ago on August 12 2003 for me (which is now my second
horse and my third horse is on the way in it's mommys
tummy). Skeeter has never done Dressage before until
a couple of moths ago! she just absolutly LOVES it!
Thanks for reading my cool story!

My name is Samantha S. and I own 9 Friesians. They are
so pretty. I have one exactly 1,201 ribbons with them.
I am 11 years old. One of our horses, Jesse, is a 5
year champion show horse here in Colorado. She is pregnant
now. 1 week ago, we won 16,000 dollars for winning a
show. Another one of our horses, Dakota, is a champion
Show jumper. He is the proud father of the soon-to-be-born
foal. His full name is Black Hills, South Dakota. His
stable name is just Dakota. Another horse I have is
Cleo. She just had a foal three days ago. She is also
a champion Show horse along with Jessie. She won 7 first
prize trophies this week. Our horse Tex, is a champion
at Cross Country and Dressage. He is the fastest horse
at our farm. One of my favorite horses is Dixie. Dixie
is a western plesure horse. I ride bare back at a full
gallop on her. She might be pregnant too. Toto is Cleo's
baby. He can already wear a halter and a lead rope.
He is very fast too. Jordan is the lead stallion of
the group. He is very gentle, yet strict when he needs
to be. He Is a champion at Dressage for 6 years.
Billy is 3 weeks old, and is the fastest foal in the
"herd.'' And our last horse is Bailey, we just
got her last Christmas. She is 1 year old.
Hi,
my name is Becky, and I live in New Brunswick
Canada and I always wanted my very own baby
horse....So when my moms arab/saddlebred mare was due
to foal I prayed that it would be a little girl....Well
she was born on Augustt 25, 2004 at 8:45pm right
in front of my mother and me....I got to see my dream
come true....We called her "Meant To Be Red Robin" she
was very small and her dad is a Paint we call Apache.
She is going to be my project to train to walk nice when you lead her and pick
up her feet and what ever I want to do with her,,,I hope to be able to show her
maybe next summer in Halter class....I love her so much She will grow up with
me
Hello
My name is Kayla and when I was about 13 my mother bought
our first Quarter Horse filly she was one when we got
her and she hated to be cliped to when she turned 3
my mom bred her to One Good Cookie, so lady was due
for a 2003 foal. When that cold march came around I
started getting more excited because it would be the
first quarter horse foal born on our stable. The night
lady gave birth she had a bay colt, with a small white
star. That night "Boogie" was born, I stayed outside
with him even though it was a school night, by the time
boogie was born i was 15, then the next few nights at
feeding time for the horses i would go in the stall
with lady and boogie and would sing to him and he would
lay down and fall asleep next to me. Then the first
time we let boogie out after the snow was gone, he followed
me around and wouldnt leave my side, summer came quickly
and boogie was growing a little older, when I would
go out to the pasture he would nicker to me and come
running over, and I would sit on the ground next to
the stable and boogie would come over and lay on me,
and sometimes I would use him as my pillow, then came
the weaning part, when he was weaned he made friends
with the other horses, but everytime he seen me he would
look at me and whinny, then come running over. I decided
I would start to train boogie because we had such a
close bond together. The first night he came in the
barn by him self with out his mother he wouldnt eat
his grain, so I had to go in his stall and hold his
bucket and sing to him. or else he wouldnt eat. Then
the winter came pretty fast and one night I was in the
barn and it was very cold so I just decided i would
work with him so I got him out and taught him to jog
with me on the lead rope. He learned very fast. When
the next march came around boogie turned 1 and he was
such a quiet guy, but we decided to geld him so I could
show him anywhere since i am only 16. Then when i decided
that i wanted to show boogie, I trained him to follow
me around and he follows me around, and I taught him
how to lounge, and now he is only 1 1/2 and I have him
doing lounge line perfect and he likes saddles on him,
and I can sit on him already. everyone always picked
on boogie since he was little and said he was ugly,
and that he was very short and would never amount to
anything, he reminds me of seabiscuit, small horse big
heart. At boogies first show I took him to, he was a
little scared but he was a good boy he got right on
the trailer for the first time after he seen me walk
on it, he rode good to the show, and when we got there
he was really quiet but he would whinny alot if I left
him, and in our first class which was showmanship, we
took first place out of 7 or 8 people, and he was the
smallest horses there, but the best behaved! I was really
proud of him! And we love eachother I feel like hes
my own child, and when I'm sad or mad and go to boogie
He makes me feel good, he has a personality of like
my best friend, I feel i can tell him anything and he
understands what I say! I cant wait to start riding
him in the spring. We both trust eachother all the way!
This is basically the beginning story of a dream come true about a little 10 year old girl named Opal and a little filly named Coco. Opal's dream has now became a reality. Through the years, tears, and occasional scars she and Coco will grow up together riding in and out of adventures. A lifelong bond will be created and they will never far apart no matter how good or how bad the times. Using lessons about life learned along the trails they will make it through with God's grace. The help and advice they receive along the way will always be appreciated and over time, a commitment to help others will firmly set. To ride a horse is a dream that almost every child, and most adults inherit. To have a trusted lifelong companion is living the dream. To see someone's dream come to reality is truly wonderful. That’s what grandparents are for.

Hi.My name is Lauren R., I own this colt named Dixie. She isn't
mine yet, we are still thinking of buying her. The big mare is her Mother, Cool Sahrah. I will be very sad if I do not get her, but she will always be in my heart. I think horses are very rewarding to care for,and only should be treated kindly. I love your website, and if i do get Dixie, I will probably by my stuff from you! Bye!

hey,
my name is Jessica and i live in Yellville Arkansas with my horse Flash.
I bought her when i was 14 as a green broke 2 year old , and am currently
training her as a barrel racer. about a week after I bought her i realized
that i was the only one she trusted enough to be around her.my sisters and
friends couldn't even touch her unless i was there.today she is still the
same way.when i turned 15 July 7th i got her shod and started riding her out
on the trails with other horses, she is doing really well and is the sweetest
horse i have ever met!
in the picture the colt is my moms baby mule that she bought about a week
ago his name is Blue Dude
love ya flash!
Hello!
My name is Lexi Jones an I own a Tennessee Walking Horse! He isn't
all mine though. I am just in the process of buying him. His name is Cadillac
Jack. But everyone just calls him Jack! I have ridden him for about two years
now and I absolutely love him! He has a blaze and no other markings, and
he is seal brown. I have formed a very special, and unusual bond with him
over the past two years. The relationship I have with him is just amazing,
nothing I have ever seen before. We trust each other completely, and we both
absolutely love each other. He even hides behind me when someone else tries
to feed him grain! I have never known a horse that couldn't resist grain.
Well, I have ridden him in lots of 4-H horse shows and at Fair! It is really
fun and I wish I could keep doing it. I can not keep doing 4-H or keep buying
Jack. My dad said that it is too expensive. Which of course is true. It does
cost alot of money. But...I have loved and taken care of Jack for so long,
that I can't bear the thought of getting rid of him! It is really sad. I
can't help but cry when I think that the only horse I love, is going away.
I will really miss Jack. He was the most fun to train and ride, out of all
the horses that I have been around. He is the most gorgeous Tennessee Walker.
I know this picture is kind of bad, but I didn't have a good one of him,
if you actually saw him, you would think he was beautiful. I love him so
much, and I will miss him tons. I love you Jack!
My name is Courtney Tyra and I own a beautiful mare and a 7 week old colt. They are identical black except for Prince (for short) has a smaller white star and 4 white stockings. Midnight has had 7 foal but two of them died after birth because the sac was to thick and no one was there to help the foals. Prince was the last foal Midnight is going to have, but Prince is going to continue the family! I have shown Midnight many times and she has won lots of ribbons and some blue ones to. I am planning to show Prince in many shows and hopefully he will win more blue ribbons than 4th or 5th or any place after that. Prince and Midnight are very alike in many ways. For intents they both love alfalfa hay. The funniest thing Prince has done is rear up and start bucking. The worst thing that has happened to Prince is that he found out the meaning of barbwire fence. The funniest thing that has happened to Midnight is that she ate my hot dog at a horse show and spit the bun out. . The worst thing that happened to her is when she was very close to her due date with Prince is that someone put her with Besty (one of my uncle's mares) started to kick Midnight in the stomach! I wouldn’t trade or sell Midnight or Prince for anything in the world!
Courtney, Midnight, and Midnight’s Prince Charming
Hi
My name is Rayel. This is my loving Walkaloosa,

reading about my horse Midnight and wish us good luck
with her baby.

Howdy!
This is my baby Della. I joined an Equine Rescue, that
didn't work out. But I did adobt Della before I got out
of it. Della is my world I will do anything for her and
she will do anything for me. When I got her she was underweight
and her hair was thin. Now she is in good health. She
is so funny at times, I have 3 watch dogs and one watch
horse. I have a sign on the gate that reads Beware of
dogs and Horse. Della can make it to the gate before
the dogs can. She Does Not like Strangers.
Rena
Hay!
This is my horse. She is a mare. Her name is Betsy.
She is a Tennessee walker. She has been to a lot of
shows. She has won over 40 ribbons. Also over $200.00
in prize money.
I am really proud of my big bay mare. She usually
is shown in trail pleasure classes. She is currently

Hey

My names Megan (13 Canada)
2 years ago my Uncle's mare had her 3rd foal (same
stud) I always wanted to have my own foal I already
had a 12 year old mare that went lame on me because
of her wieght but was slowly coming back.My Uncle
decide to give me the horse for like a really awesome
present. So there i was with a 3 day old colt we
had named Mac(Short for Bonchance Mac Peppy)A beautiful
Bay Quarter Horse with a nosey personality.I've
been working with him for those 2 years as much as
i can and right now I can ride my 2 year old up into
a fast trot. I'm also hoping to send him for a month
of training to a really good trainer in the fall
and next year I want to show him in the Maritime
Quarter Horse circit Mostly racing Barrels and
pole bending (but all aroud work too like reining some
english pleasure and stuff like that.....like my
old horse Abby) hopefully beating my dad on his
3 year old red dun QH, Gunner
Macs a very sweet boy and very smart!!!
I know he loves me cause he's my baby and i love
him. Most people think it's just the same old story
about a bond between a girl and her horse and it
is we have something very special.
Hey!!
This is my horse Boy. His registered name is Cindy's
Sterling Boy( boy for short) He is a Missouri Fox Trotter.
I got him when he was 15. We also have his mom who
was 20 when we got her. Boy will be 21 this year. I
love to go down the road and trail ride with him. We
also love to jump!!! He is a nice horse, but often
has mood swings with other people. I have never showed
him, but I hope to do so soon. He used to be very mean,
but I have been working with him, and now I can do
a whole bunch of stuff with him.......I can even gallop
bareback! He hates having to leave his mom, but he
hates my pony oakie!! I love him sooo much! I don’t
know what I would have done without him.
Bye!

February
2000, I went to a horse auction in the lower part of
Missourri, it was a cold, wet and icy day . Looking
for a shetlandpony! I saw a beautyful Missourri Foxtrotter
mare with her very ugly, sorrel, sick 5 month old colt.
he looked so sorry, that I called him THE SORRY SORREL,
he was not weaned and in the worst place on earth, poor
thing. The mare got sold and the little guy was put
up for sale again, nobody wanted him and I felt soooo
sorry for him, so I bought him for almost nothing. I
called my husband to put up a fence and wait for our
arrival. The little guy left his mom and followed me
without a problem into the two-horse trailer. He was
a sweet guy I thaught, wrong, he was very ill, to ill
to fight. We made it home, and I thaught if he survives
we always can find him a home ! As a yearling and two
year old he won the Highpoint Awards in halter against
" The Local Cream", they bad mouthed my sweet little
Sorrel, I cried and loved my " SORRY SORREL" even more.
In September , just before Rocky turned three years
old, without ever been to a big show I TOOK MY PRETTY
DUCKLING to" The Missourri FOXTROTTER WORLD Show 2002.
" My horse Racheals Rocket became Reserve World Champion
Modelhorse, 3 weeks before he turned 3 years old!!!!!
In 2003 I showed him once under saddle , bred a few
mares and turned him out for the season. Get ready folks
he will be back in the showring to continue making HEADLINES

Hay!! My name is Katie and I just got a horse named
Belle. Belle is 4 years old and she is a bay thoroughbred.
She used to be a racehorse. When she raced, her name
was She's Cosmic. I plan to use that name as her show
name this summer. My instructor bought Belle as a retired
racehorse from the Canter Program. About 6th months
later, We bought Belle from her. I love Belle so much,
and even though I have had her for a short period of
time, I can't remember what it was like without her.
Belle pretty much loves any kind of treat, sometimes
a little too much! She is now being trained to jump,
which she's doing really well in and I can't wait to
get her in the show ring! She seems like such a part
of me now, and I know we will grow to work even better
as a team in the years to come.
~Hay~
My name is Alyssa and this is a picture of my horse
Nica. Nica is a bay thoroughbred mare. She is very special
to me and is a big part of my life. For a very long
time I have wanted a horse. Around July 2002 my parents
finally said that I could start looking for a horse.
My instructor, Ingrid, helped me look. We were on the
Internet and found a website. This website was called
CANTER. This is a program to help ex-racehorses find
a new home. Through this program our trainer / instructor
has gotten 4 horses and have each gotten a great home.
Nica loves to jump. She and I have like IDENTICAL personalties.
We both like the same things. Nica has been to two
shows in the time that I have had her. We went to a
show in De Pere, Wisconsin (I live in Wisconsin) in
June 2003 and another one in October of 2003 in Occonomowalk.
The picture below is of our October show. She and I
make a good team. Nica has the will and endurance to
work. She absolutely loves it. It is funny to see how
we have changed eachother. When I got Nica she was a
fat ex-racehorse with no muscle and a lot of energy.
She has changed me in a sense of she made me stronger
physically and emotionally. I am not afraid of things
as much now as I used to be.
Ginger
This is my horse, Ginger. I havehad her for 5 years.
She
is 14 years old. She loves apples. HATES carrots. We
don't know why though. Her brother Cowboy loves them!!!
Cowboy is my sisters horse. We have been riding for
10 years. The horse I had before Ginger was Angel. She
was beautiful. She was a mustang. Was 14 to. I rather
not say what happened but I guess I will. We had to...put
her down. She got really sick and there was nothing
we could do. Ginger is in great shape. I will never
sell her.
