Hi, my name is Nicole (Horsemom444) i have 3 amazing horses! But i can only tell you about 1. So Liberty was my first horse,he is 14.2 hand sorrel National show horse. He is my baby!! I have had him for 3 years. He is turning 6. We are going to a few shows this year. He does English and western, but i mostly ride English. Since he is at my house with the other two i get to ride him a lot, which is good because he can use the exercise(very easy keeper! lol) I hope to own him forever! But his one fault is that he is an escape artist. So we always have to be careful where we put him!
Howdy My name is Delaney I'm 16 and I have 3 great horses. My first horse is my palimino 10 year old mare. My second horse is my QH/Buckskin 13 year old mare. and my third horse is my grey paint 3 year old gelding. These three horses are my babies and I ride them every day. I don't know what I would do without them!
My name is Kristen and this is a picture of my Pure Arabian gelding named Chy. His registered name is WOW IBN CHYMAHRUS. Chy is black and has a boomerang shaped star and a tiny swirl of white on his heel. I am training him now because he is turning 3 years old. I am training him to be an English horse and hopefully a jumper. I may also train him to do some gymkahna events to because Chy is a FAST horse. I have 4 horses total. I have Chy, Sadie, Sara, and Taz. Sadie is a 18 year old QH mare who is bay, 15 hands, and just had our foal Taz in June. I mostly ride her. We are jumping, doing gymkahna, and English riding this year. Sara is our 13.2 hand Appaloosa pony! She is the cutest thing! She is 15 years old and blue roan. She jumps, trail rides, gymkahna, and much more! She is up for sale though, and I will miss her when some one buys her! Last but not least I have my QH X Morgan colt named Brimstone's Tazmanian Devil or "Taz" for short. He is almost 13.2 hands already and is turning 1 year old on June 16th 2006! He is bay like his mom Sadie! We are gelding him this month (april) so he will not breed our pony sara! I love them all to death!

Hi
everyone, my name's Brigid and I'm 12. This is a pic
of me and my gorgeous pony Molly. She is a 13.2hh
pinto mare and she has that special way of making
people all around her happy. Anyway, we bought her
in July last year and I've had a couple of falls of
her (losing my confidence a bit) but I got back on
her both times and i don't regret it. She is the best
pony anyone could want and I can do ANYTHING on her
now (canter/gallop bareback, canter over jumps bareback,
jump 87cm).
I LUV YOU MOLLY!!!!!!!!!!
Hi
everyone !!! My name is Jackie and I live in the wonderful
U.S.A !!! This is for the horse "Alf" AKA
Determination Pays Off the 6 year old POA. I was going
to get him but he cost a little too much $. But I
believe he is worth every penny. He is a white as
snow 6 year old 13.1hh POA gelding. He is internationally
known in the POAC as a winner. I chose a other horse
which I believe can do just as good as Alf but I'm
going to save his story in another essay. Alf sounded
perfect. He will always have a special place in my
heart even though he is not mine. We got a video of
him a few days ago and his trot looked soo smooth,
he went from one gait to the next w/ out ANY problem
and I know why the judges love him!! All in all, I
love you Alf !!! And I am sorry I didn't pick you.
If I ever have the chance to buy you again, I will.
Love you Alf. Hope to see you @ the international
POA shows !! I know you will blow them all away !!!
Luv you lots Alf !!!
Jackie ;)

Hi there
My name is Tracey - we have a small
place in Saskatchewan and raise a few horses. We
have a very special gelding, we call him Boo. The other
day our late weanling developed problems with his legs
- he was weaned a month ago and his dam was sold a
couple weeks ago. Because his legs were so bad
we couldnt keep him in the barn - and because he is
so small and winter is not yet gone, we needed to get
him a tiny jacket and find another horse at our place
who would take him under their wing - we tried several
mares and no one took to the little guy. I felt
sorry for him by himself and then i thought of my big
white gelding, Boo ~ who doesnt have a mean bone in
his body. So we put Boo in with him and I have
never witnessed a "gelding" act so maternal toward
a weanling like this - he goes through all the same
motions a dam would (except the feeding part, haha)
and they lay together on their bedding and are completely
inseparable. Today some of the other geldings
snuck into the pen and despite being terrified of them,
Boo tried everything to keep them away from his baby
brother! Thankfully I was there to secure the pen.
I know their story doesnt end here, we still have many
weeks for the colt to heal but I am thankful for this
special gelding. These horses never cease to amaze.
Tracey
This is the story of my horse, Dream, and I. I'm
16 years old. Dream is a 17 hand Thoroughbred
gelding. I first met Dream in October. He was a prospect
for me to buy. I got on and rode him around. I decided
I wanted to buy him. We bought Dream in November.
He's mine now and I will love him forever!
Hi! My name is Lindsay. This is a pic of me
and my horse, Market Envoy (a.k.a Sequoyah) He is a
beautiful 17year old Thoroghbred gelding. I show him
in 4-H, Pony Club, and on the open show circuit. When
I got Sequoyah 5 years ago, he was unconditioned and
green. We clicked immediately on the first test
ride, and have been working well together ever since. We
have jumped up to 3' 9" and currently are jumping 3'
6" courses. Sequoyah goes great for all 3 phrases
of eventing, but especially LOVES eventing. I
keep Sequoyah at our farm, Pine Ridge Ranch, where
we also have Sierra, a mustang mare and 2 adorable
miniature horses named Romeo and Mystee. My friend
boards her two horses, Justan and Romeo at our
place too. Besides being active in Pony Club
and 4-H, I also give riding lessons. Recently
one of my students has begun working with Sequoyah. Joanna
and Sequoyah are awesome together and did well at our
county fair. I love my horse so much and will
never give him up.

Hey there!
My name is Meaghan and I'm 17 years old. I reside in a lovely town in Michigan.
I have loved and enjoyed horses ever since I can remember. I never had the opportunity
to be with them or learn more about them in my youth and early teens and eventually
I had to find something else to do with my time. (i.e. Hunting, Fishing, Riding
dirtbikes, sports, ect..) Last summer I was lucky enough to stumble upon a wonderful
barn and they were very welcoming to me and my novice ness. I got to learn so
much and really found the inner passion for horses again. Time passed and eventually
I got to lease a gelding for a couple months. That was amazing, but he eventually
got sold and was gone like * that * . It was sad, but I knew
that it was what was supposed to happen. I kept bothering my parents to see if
I could get a horse. Eventually, to my surprise, they gave in! I continued looking
for one, found a few but was just let down. I ended up just forgetting about
getting a horse, despite I didn't really have one to ride or be with. Then one
day, my trainer calls me and tells me she has a horse that would be perfect for
me for sale. Her name was Gunner's Greatest, aka "Gunny" as we call her. I talked
to my parents and they agreed to get her for me for Christmas! It was the most
exciting day ever and I'm so thankful for her and such wonderful parents to have
agreed. We have been together for about two months and we're trying to establish
a respect bond. I hope to eventually show with her this summer, as I've always
dreamed of working hard for ribbons. I'm curious to see what the future holds
for us...and I'm very thankful that God gave me such a blessing in my life.
Hello,
my name is Candice and I am 13. My horse's name is
Rock On Chilly Pepper, aka Sunshine. I am going to
tell you how I got Sunshine. I was browsing through
the internet one day and I seen this ad, it was
talking about how gentle and sweet she was to be
so young, so I told my dad I wanted to go look at
her. He took me to look at her and I fell in love
with her instantly! She knows all kinds of tricks
now and when you tell he she is pretty she raises
her top lip, she is a show off! She is a 1 and a
half year old registered Paint Horse Filly and I
love her sooooooo much! She is my baby and she follows
me everywhere I go. She has some EXCELLENT bloodlines
as a halter and western pleasure horse. I have big
plans for her in the future and I hope I never have
to get rid of her. She is just a joy for me to own
and I am sooo glad that she is mine.
Okay
this is a really bad picture of me and her! I know....i
couldn't find a better one at the moment. I got her
about 5 weeks ago. but i have been riding her in lessons
for a year. and takeing lessons for 3 years. I ride
english..i do hunter/jumper. Right now i am teaching
her dressage. She is the best horse to have. i am
14 years old and i have a lot of drama in my life
and when im with her i feel whole. if you know what
i mean. Ummmm i am at a horse show at Irish creek
stables. I take lessons and board her at Breezewood
stables. I have the best instructor out there!!!!!
I don't care what you say. she is so funny and out
going. and then my friends out there that i take lessons
with. they are the best. i wouldn't exchange my life
for ANYTHING! She loves to just canter out side the
ring. she has a lot of spunk in the fields and on
the trails. she is a lil sluggish doing flat work
in the ring...but when you start jumping she is gets
excited. She is 12 years old but most of the time
acts like shes 2. she is a huge baby....shes my baby
AND I LOVE HER!!!!
Dixie & Leann
THIS
IS THE BEAT THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME!!!!!!!!!!
This is Midnight Moon. He is a reg black tennessee
walkinghorse/reg spotted saddle horse. He has the
BEST breeding you can get in walkier's and has the
BES temperment is ANY horses. My name is Emily I am
14 and live is mi. When I first me Moony(as I call
him), it was late april 05. My ridding instructer
invited me and my family to a 'barn party' where I
take lessions. one of my little sisters(Mary) and
I decided to go out to the patures to pet some of
the horses. Thats when I first met him. We entered
the main pasture where the ranch owner puts "stall"
horses some times, and there where 5 or so horses
in the. We gave them treat's and petted some of them.
Then I saw Midnight. He was about 4 1/2 than and VERY
shy. I petted him and felt an instant-somthing. I
know it sownd dumb but thats how it happened. I knew
than I HAD to get him. Later that day I got to ride
him. He was omly greed broke but very willing. since
than I have been groomig him, ridding him, cleaning
his stall and theaching him tricks. Like "GIVE
ME A KISS" and, "ARE YOU HUNGEY?"and
he nod's his head. I was heart broke by my parent's
when the said I couldn't spend $3500 on a horse when
I could find one for $1500. But I never gave up. I
breed dog's so I earned money to lease him one month.
And just today I MADE MY FIRST PAYMENT ON HIM!!!!!!!!!
I am SOSOSO HAPPY. I COULD SCREAME!! I wanted to share
my story with othe pepole who love horses and dream
of owning a dream horse of there own one day.- I know
i fouwn mine and 'll never let him go.
My
name is Jenna and I currently own two horses. I am
now fourteen years old and have owned my owned three
horses during my lifetime. What got me into horses
was my aunt Donna, who currently has two of hre very
own horses Dewey and Stratton. My first horse was
a mare named Jazzy, and she was an ex trotter...but
we sadly had to give her away to a nice home. Then
I got my horse Calvin who is a Morgan gelding. Calvin
(AKA: Sexy Fat Cal or SFC) is a 14.3H dark bay with
dapples and I believe to me his cutest feature is
a little white dot on his upper lip! Calvin can be
a bit timid when placed outside the ring, he was primerely
a ring horse before I got him, but he still completes
everything politely. Calvin is a little fat, but he's
happy! Calvin has eccessive amounts of training and
with pick up leads, jump, side pass, turn on haunches
and forehand, go english or western, sets himself
up, and I even ride him around with just a rope around
his neck, if I just say the word Whoa he stops very
nicely for me, such a good boy. He's the horse in
the picture.
Then my other horse is a chestnut mare which I very
recently purchased arounf five to six months ago.
She is a good age od twenty three, but man oh man
is she spunky! Unlike my other horse, she is the best
trail horse ever! She is totally road safe and is
willing to go through, by, over, in anything we meet
up with outdoors! She has not had a lot of training,
she knows the basics of walk trot and canter stop
and back and turning but that's about it! She is 15H
and has a white stripe down her face, she has the
cutest face known to man kind, i swear, she knocks
me off my feet! She loves little heart shaped treats
and carrot cakes. She is a food fanatic willing to
consume any type of lik it or salt block. She was
a ranch horse, and is extremely fast, but very controllable
in not in the least spooky! I love both my horses
very much, but I would also like to acknowledge my
dear friends horse, Whimpy, who sadly Novmber 11th
2005 had to be handed over to heaven. Whimpy stayed
at my house for his last year after my friend rescued
him. But by the end of the year, he told us he was
ready, and after a few months of learning how to kiss,
he finally learned to kiss Jackie, his mother, on
the lips for a treat on November 11th, the last day
he had to live. Whimpy was the most generous, favorable,
kind hearted animal I have ever been in contact with
in my life, and nothing, not even my own horses, could
change that thought. I have never felt so safe and
comfortable around a horse, as I have around him.
So I just wanted to say thankyou to Whimpy for always
being right behind me, and really showing the world
to quit taking things for granted, and really live
like you were dying.
Hi
!!! ;) My name is Jackie !!!! I am writing about my
favorite horse Kasper and some adventures we have
had !!! He's the cute white one !!! Kasper is used
as a lesson horse at the BEST stables ever !!! Cedar
Hill Farms !!! The first day I went to Cedar Hill
Farms I had my eye on Buck. He is a tall buckskin
gelding. When my horse lesson teacher Jenny Lee assigned
horses, I got Kasper. I hadn't been around horses
in a few years. I was a little nervous when I had
to hoof pick him. The helpers, Callie Cassie, and
Jessica, were helping me with him. By the time we
got him brushed, hoof picked and bridled we were ready
to go. Jenny Lee told us that we were going to ride
bare back today so we could achieve better balance
and cordination on the horses. My friend Sammy had
Peek a palimino gelding and my brother Frankie got
a dark chestnut gelding named Sarge. There were other
people riding with us too. All the other horses were
Cash, Charlie, Buck, Okie, and Precious. Well any
way back to the story. We all got on our horses and
the girl 'Morgan' who got Buck started to cry when
she got on him because she thought that he would buck
her off !!! And Buck was just standing there waiting
to move. Me, Sammy, Frankie and all the other riders
were walking around the arena...except Morgan and
Buck.Kasper was sooo anxious to ride in the arena
that he went ahead and cut in !!!! I luv him sooo
much !!!! Callie and Jessica had to take turns at
holding the reins while poor Buck just stood there.
Bar back was sooo much fun!!! We had sooo much fun
!! We got saddled up and did courses, barrels, cones,
and a little bit of walking over obsticles. About
2-3 days later, because Morgan was soo freaked out
about Buck, Jenny Lee and the stable owner Sandy had
to give Morgan Okie and the other girl Buck !!!! I
was soooo happy that they didn't switch Kasper !!!
We ALL were happy we ahd our original horse !!! On
the last day, Sandy was getting out Okie out of his
pen. Sandy told me to hold hin while she got Buck
out and told me to take him into the barn in a few
minutes. Then Morgan comes running up to him while
he had his back turned and was feeding !!!!! He could
have gotten spooked and reeared up on her !!! I quickly
turned his head so he'd see her. I took him in and
the whole time I did, she was saying 'Let me do it
he's MINE!!!' . Sammy says 'Let her have him Jackie.'
No way !! So I hooked him up and he was ready. On
the last day, Kasper was sooo good as usual. We got
to go out into the out door arena too. We barrel raced,
pole bended and we also got to go on a trail ride.
It was great !! By the time we headed back to the
barn, my heart felt heavy knowing that I had to leave
Kasper. Jenny Lee and Sandy picked two horses Charlie
and Peek to be our painted horse models. We painted
ALL of them !! It was team against team. I was on
Sammie's. It was a tie and both teams won in 5-6 minutes.
As a reward, we all got ribbons and little horse figureines.
I got a purple ribbon and a white horse. Before we
left, I gave Kasper a kiss and said goodbye!!! My
mom and dad said that I will see him again in the
fall !!! I already can't wait !! Thanks for your time
!!!! Write ya soon !!!
Luv your horse ALWAYZ !!!!
Jackie

lol
Hay!!
My name is Molly S. and I am 11 years old. I live
in the wonderful USA. I got my pony when i was 10
( Jun 22, 2005 ) Her name is Belle and she is the
best pony in the whole wide world!! I love her to
death and I do not have a clue on how I went through
life without her!! She is stabled at my aunt's house
in Alabama. She is all mine and I tell ALL of my cousins
to stay away from her with their paint-ball guns.
I got her around my birthday ( that was not planned
to happen ). When my aunt came out with her I was
so excited!! I knew we would be friends forever!!
The top of her head is as high as the top of my head!!!
She is around 14hh, and is a liver chestnut. She is
a dream to own!! To anyone who does not have a pony,
keep dreaming because one day it might come true!!
It sure did for me!! All I wanted was a playful pony
who I could love and hug and that she would never
get mad at me, that is what I got!! I want to show
her to everybody in the world, so, I am getting ready
to start showing her. Look out everyone!!

Hello,
My name Frenchi. This is Brandi my horse. She is a
mixed I do not know what her breed is. She is 21 years
old. She is my first horse I have ever owned. I love
her so much! She can do many things. I have got her
to bow a couple of times. She is always sticking her
tongue out. She is 14.2 hands. I have put a 4 year
old kid on her once and she was a perfect angel. I
can sit on her butt and slide off and she will not
do a thing. I can also stand on her back and sit under
her. She is a perfect little horse. I got her for
Christmas last year from my parents. I love the website!
Forever Frenchi and Brandi
Hi!
My name is Christyna and this is me and my Appaloosa
Mare DZ'S Princessa aka Zippy. I'm 15 and I line is
north Texas. Zippy is my show horse that I ride Hunter
under saddle and horsemanship, Showmanship, Western
pleasure, and horsemanship, and trail. She is truly
my favorite horse in the world. Zippy and I go to
the Appaloosa Youth World Show every year except this
year cause she had a little filly named Faith. I've
only been to the world show 2 times with her and we
have won 3 top tens together. One in Halter, one in
Showmanship and on in Western Horsemanship. Between
Zippy and my trainer Dawn I've learned show much and
advanced very fast in my riding and I'm so very thankful
plus my Mom and my Dad for coming behide me and wrighting
all those checks so that I could have the chance to
suceed in all that I do and start my future career
in the horse world. Soon Faith will be weaned and
I will be able to start riding Zippy again in September
and go to youth world and win or even just have good
rides and do the best we can do.
Hi,
I'm Tabby Z.
I own a 8 year old Quarter Horse mare named lilly
and a 1 and 1/2 year old gelding named Pooh Bear!
They are both very wonderful horses. I've had both
horses since they were 2 weeks old. i was there when
pooh bear was born and it was a GREAT experince. Lilly
is Pooh Bear's mother. Lilly loves to run, she gets
very excited when she sees barrels, or jumps, she
LOVES to jump. Pooh bear loves to do tricks... he
can shake, smile and say no. Here is a picture of
them both. Pooh bear is only 2 months old in that
picture.
Hey!
My name is Sarah. I am 14 years old and live in SnowValley,
Ontario, Canada. On July, 8th, 2005 I bought my very
first horse! I have been riding since I was 9 years
old and from the moment I started I have always wanted
my own horse! I have met the best of friends from
riding like shalana :) haha, anyways...If I didn't
ride horses, I don't know what I would do with my
life!! I have only had my horse for about 4 months,
and in this short time I can't remember what it was
like before I owned her! Haha...I forgot... my horses
name is moon pi--yes i know! she came with that name
and I loved it because it is so unique! But ya, Pi
(for short) is 3 years old, she is an appy mare who
has the best personality (and she's a strawberry roan!)
since she's only 3 she's still a filly! And I can't
beleive my instructor let me get a chestnut mare!
haha, just joking :) The coolest part is I'm a red
head to and both me and pi have the same personalities!
I love her so much! When I went to try her out I rode
her in just a halter! and she was sooooo good! I got
to try her in a bridle to and she was super! When
I tried her out I also took her out in these big empty
hilly fields and got to have some fun :) (if you know
what i mean) oh and that was just in a halter! haha!
so, ya,. the day i tried her out was the day we bought
her! And she came to my new barn Fairfields one week
later, (I had to switch barns because morning glory-which
is also an awsome barn was 1/2 and hour away and would
be to hard to drive there when i got my own horse
:s) FAIRFIELDS IS THE MOST AWSOME BARN EVER THOUGH!
haha! anyways..i had to leave my best buddies at mg
and the best schoolies ever! but fairfields is soo
nice! pi and i love it! and next year me and pi are
going to be eventing! i can't wait! anyways..i think
i have written the longest msg! hopefully i will see
my post on the site! luv, sarah and pi
Hello, My name is Maci. This is my 25 year old Arabian
Frassy. She is my first horse ever. I got her
for my 9th birthday I am now 12. She has been the best
horse ever. I am now looking for a new horse becuase
Frassy is so old and has arthritis. I have had another
horse but she is also old. I just sold her. Frassy
might be 25 but she acts like a 4 year old. She is
always wanting to run. In this picture it is fall.
It was only a couple of months ago. I can still ride
her to. She is a perfect kids horse. You can sit under
her, jump of her back, stand on her back, stand right
behind her and pull her tail and she will not to one
thing. I put my 2 year old brother on her and let her
walk around in the pasture by themselves and nothing
happened to them. In her younger days she did western
pleasure and a little jumping. I love her so much and
I wish I could keep her forever. I love the website!
Forever Maci and Frassy

ever horse and I just recently purchased him. He is
a 4 (5 in April) year old 15.2hh registered
appaloosa gelding. He is such a sweet boy and so friendly,
I love him to death. I want to try all sorts of things
with him in the future but for now he's my trail

It will just be for fun since appaloosa's don't normally
excel at it. He still has a lot of training left but

Hey my name is Meredith. I am the new horse owner of a horse named
Petey. He came to our barn about 2 and 1/2 years ago from a camp that
just used him as a trail horse. When my barn got him, all he could
do was walk and trot, he didn't like to canter and he didn't know
how to jump! I rode him once when he first got there and I thought
he was the most uncomfortable horse I'd ever ridden, so I didn't ride
him again until about 8 months later. EVERYTHING about him had changed!
His gaits and transitions were smooth as butter and he was jumping
2 foot 6 beautifully and could've been jumped higher if he wasn't
a school horse! I really really liked him after that ride! But I found
out that my friend was leasing him, so I couldn't. So i just rode
him in my lessons. Then, one day i went out to the barn for my lesson
on Petey and found out that he was for sale. =(. I cryed myself to
sleep for 2 months every night because my family didn't have the money
and I knew that no one else wanted him. BUT THEN ONE DAY i went back
to the barn to find that my friend had bought him and she was going
to let my lease him!! i was SO happy that day! so i started leasing
him from her, and exactly a year later my friend decided she didn't
want to own a horse anymore, so i finally got to buy him! now we're
showing at 2 foot 6 and placing! but aat home we can jump 3 foot 6!
